Frolic

I feel like a bird. Okay, let me explain. Today is a wonderful day. This is exactly how I feel:

I woke up to see a beautiful pink and orange canvas sky outside my window. As I walk to get picked up the sun washed the whole neighborhoud, turning everything it touches to gold. I'm wearing sandals for the first time this year and there are sunglasses placed uptop my head nestled in my hair where the belong, (well while i'm inside). Now as i type the sun is still brilliantly flowing throught the library windows and the campus is alive with the sound of the nearing summer. Students have taken to outside versus the hallway benches and alcove tables. Not a picnic table our outside bence is vacant. As I walk across campus I hear Vampire Weekend play in my head.

I am so giddy and filled with exuberence I just wanna dance, do cartwheels, handstands and somersaults, and roam the campus touching everything that the sun has turned golden. I wanna roll down a hill. I feel as though i'm weightless and my heart the floating, the only thing containing it is my ribcage.

I feel inspired and ambitious. Like the world is at my finger tips, because it is. And I know I can do anything I set my mind to and succeed abundantly because GOD IS GOOD!

So I now just wanna go to a field and frolic listening to The Beatles and climb a tree. Then stop at the beach and dig my feet into the ground then drive with the music cranked and my hair in the wind.
