LIFE KIDS 2010

So it's definately been awhile! Life has been super duper busy. The week after my last post was kids camp! I cannot believe how extraordinary it was. I keep having dreams that its still happening and then waking up fully expecting that i'm back in that week. It is in fact a saddening feeling that it is indeed over, but its exciting to think about all the kids that were saved and have their lives changed and that next year is coming up! The last week basically all i can talk about it kids camp. I think my family and my friends that weren't part of kids camp are sick of hearing me talk about it. I'm sure. I keep telling the following stories; only these are just tid bits because well..then i would just ramble on remembering how amazing those moments were and you would just be bored.
Keasen - that kids just makes my heart grow and break all at the same time.
"everywhere we go..people wanna know.." - team cheer
The Bethlaham Boys and The Galilee Girls Morning arobics
How i still have Boom Chicka boom, Battlefeild, and many more songs stuck in my head.
Kareoke Star Sr.
The kids had to pick out kitchen utensils not knowing that would be what they are dinner with.
Monk's dinner and dog food. Oh my.
Colossal Canyon...Paula + No hands.
Bus rides.
When Jesse's team won, and still to this day he is gloating about it
Baptism
ALL the kids and how much fun I had with them.
and just everything in general.

Get an idea of how awesome kids camp was because i'm 100% sure i'm missing alot there.

A Grand Adventurous Day

Today I got the oppurtunity to do something I NEVER thought I would do. I went....dragonboating. Weird right? But so much fun! take 60 swing managers from the surrey and put them in the water doing something they would have never thought of - yeah guess you could call that fun. It was actually quite easy, and kinda fun. Except the girl infront of me could not figure it out and madly splashed my the entire time. Not just little splashes like full on shoveling water in my face when we were racing fast. It being salt water I could not keep my eyes open, so I instead just closed my eyes and wildly paddled out of time, which apparently is the most important thing because you go faster when everyone paddles at the same time makes sense right?

In the evening I got to be the photographer for the "Galilie Girls", our kids camp singing.....sensation? The rivals to "The Bethlaham Boys". It was grand, artsy photos on some of the coolest streets in New West. So makes we want to go spend and entire day taking photos then finish it off with a little shop in the cute botique's and dinner in a cute cafe! Hopefully that is something I can do this summer.
