Sick of being sick

I'm still sick as a dog. And don't wanna go to work. I wanna curl up with my doggy and watch how i met your mother all day long again.
*Takes deep breath* Its okay, money, i need money. AND i'll have a milkshake soon as i get their! I wanted one soo bad yesterday. Cause whenever I was sick when i was young my dad would go to mcdonalds and get me a milkshake. And this one looks so good :) Now i'm excited.

I got into the CADD/DRAFTING program at kwantlen for next semester.
I just don't know if i should take it... i really wanna take more drawing courses cause i'm learing so much. But this could be so good for my portfolio and chances as well!

I've been stuck up in my room all day long due to the worst cold I can ever remember having. How I Met your Mother thank you for saving my day; besides the 54 minute wait after every 72 minutes. But its kinda nice to have a break and hear the rain patter outside my window and cuddle with my dog, incessant nose blowing and coughing aside.


But since I have nothing to do waiting another 37 minutes to watch more How I Met your Mother let me catch you all up on my last few days.
So Saturday was the last time i posted I believe.
I don't think anything particularly out of ordinary happened on Monday so we can skip to Tuesday.
Did I mention Tuesday's are my favourite; 4 hours of art in the morning then life group at night. This Tuesday however was extra good, really it was quite bitter-sweet.

Art was fun spent all class drawing a hallway which students decided they wanted to block while waiting for their class. Right after class I bused back to home and met a friend from kindergarten Madison. It was so wonderful catching up and listening to her stories of love and how great this guy is that she's met. She's moving to Australia in a few days for a year, cause that's where he's from. But anyways, so good to catch up with each other even though at sometimes we're not even a block away from each other. This is when I noticed i was getting sick so i went home and had a nap before Life group....Chanel's last official Life group but we'll get to that part a tad later. So the girls came and we all had a wonderful time chatting then watching the Glee Season premiere. Sadly dear Madi had tummy problems and felt sick, I felt so bad. So shout out to Madi, LOVE YOU!
So Life group is now over and Chanel sees the last of the girls out she turns around and tears stream down her face so i gave her a big hug and Gab joins us. We decide to break it up before it becomes a brawl session So we head upstairs so Gab's can draw Chanel blindly. First step into Chanel's room Gab start to bawl then chanel does then I do then Alex does. We're all weeping then somewhat start laughing cause we're being such babies.

Okay so i'm gonna stop rambling now and get to a conclusion of my events.
I can't even believe the people God has put in my life. A few years ago I never thought I could love so many people so dearly. Every single one of them mean something so different to me. Old friendships, Best friends, New friends, and of course my girlies :)



Chanel I don't even know what i'm gonna do when you're gone for 2. We may not have been best friends all through high school but you were always there since grade eight. Through you me and Sasha and now Me You and Gab's as well as the wonderful few additions that have made our whole family. Now you're a crucial part of the 5 of us, and mean a heck of a lot to me.



Well now i'm crying again. Time to instill my plan from Tuesday night - dehydration to stop the tears.
And I couldn't find a good picture of 5 girls so these have to suffice.

Our Hope Endures

Its been a super interesting week. Full of bad news, dissapointments, and surprises. Yesterday I think was the day I felt it and ended up crying work...twice. But today was a different day. Even though it sometime feels like the world is ending and I just wanna curl up in a corner and cry for a day, (which i did for 15 minutes last night, but its good to cry/pray it out), after all of that I know god's got it covered. The picture is so much bigger and god knows the beggining and the end. And it definately brings be back to my favourtie scripture;

Do not be afraid for I am with you, Do not be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will hold you up with my victorius right hand.

Just gotta keep that smile on my face even if I have to build myself up with prayer and sing worship in my head all day, cause the storm will end.

Dolla dolla bills ya'll

So the last few weeks have been busy. Boy, the first week of school in university is nothing like the first week of school in high school. Not that I expected it to be, but man alive! I think i did a total of 11 hours of homework for two classes last week. 8 of it for a "test" in marketing. Got to the class that morning fully prepared got my sheet; yes i said sheet as in one. It was only 10 minutes and 10 questions for the first 150 pages of the book. It's all good i aced it!

Tuesday morning i only have one class and it ends at 1 o'clock. So i spent the afternoon shopping cause i've been super frustrated with my wardrobe lately i used to love it but lately for this season i feel like i just want more for my creativity.
On today shopping list:
2 pairs shoes
umbrella
4 necklaces
2 cardigans
1 bandeau
and 1 blouse

I still need a few more things to complete my fall/winter wardrobe but until i can go actual back to school shopping with the bestie it will do. ps COSTAL RIDERS BLOW OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH. Can you say fusia/teal (haven't decided which color i want yet)vans hightops and some sweet sweaters. i can.

Now I get to go spend the night with my favourites doing girly things :)

Fly with me, come fly away

I cannot wait for fall and winter. I do not mind the rain...good thing I live in Vancouver. Just need to get some clothes shopping done and i'll be all good. The colder season's are definately my favourite. The attire of course makes me feel so cozy; knitted sweatshirts, gloves, toques, scarves. Spending time inside with family and friends wrapped up in blankets drinking hot beverages, sharing hearty laughs and juvenille stories while the rain hits the windows in the background. Walking in the snow while it crunches under your feet. How the hustle and bustle of christmas can almost seem relaxing. Generally the christmas spirit just makes me grin from ear to ear, why can't it be like that all the time. Don't get my wrong I love the summer time, fall and winter have an atmosphere that I find more enjoyable.

Oh and the color definately don't help my liking for these magical seasons

I'm a University student. I still can't really believe it. I still feel like i'm around 14 years old. Technically i'm an adult now..will I ever really feel like an adult. I'm feel like i'm waiting for this defineing moment to feel it, but does that ever really happen. You think something like first day of University would do it.







So enough about rambling about life, let me tell you about my first day of University. My first and only class was Into Art Foundations. This was the class I was the most nervous about. Not having much drawing experience I thought everyone was going to be experts. I get there bout a half an hour earlier than my class just so i have some time in case I get lost or miss the bus. I found a face a knew from orientation. So pleased that its the girl that also didn't succeed in admission to the interior design program, also pleased we have the same class! Phew, one familiar face. I walk in and few students are sitting in a laid out circle and the class slowly starts to fill up. Such a relief when the teacher walked in, introduced herself and the class. She explained that this class was very basic some people had never really drawn in their life. We started drawing right stat she walked around and gave us feedback, telling us exactly what we were doing wrong and what we needed to fix in a nice way. Then taught us habits and tricks to drawing what we were going to draw.
I think it's needless to say i'm really going to enjoy Tuesdays. On top of everything the people in the class all seem really nice, non stuck up i'm better than you types. One guy was so proud of his drawing he took a picture with his phone and sent it to his mom and friend he was super proud. He was kinda cute too.

Sit Back and Wave Through the Daylight

For the last few weeks I've had this longing to go sailing. Summer is almost over and I know I probably won't get a chance to fulfill this dream. I really really really want to go! Maybe in Setember? Cause I wanna go so very badly.

Time were so much simpler back then...in some aspects.
