I was looking online for some art to inspire me for a painting i'm working on. The piece i'm working on is just to blah to me right now. It's lacking creativity, and I need to find a way to make it unique and not just ordinary. Here are some pieces i stumbled upon that I LOVED!

DONE!

So i'm OFFICIALLY done my first year of university.

So when i posed the last pictures of my art i still had two final projects to complete. And i'll show you now, because i'm very proud of the both of them! Especially my drawing, becaues i finally got an A in Robert's class, which i've been trying all semester to do. Yes it meant, scrapping my project twice, the second time at 9pm the night before it was due, and staying up until 5 am. It was so worth it!

Anyways here is my final drawing and painting:

I did do about an hour more work on this one before class, just tuning up.

I trimmed it, as well as made the tv screens look more reflective and 3D.

And this one is not fully complete, I still need to do more work on the tentacles and suction cups!

So i've been MIA for awhile it's kinda been crazy. But i've come to the realisation i haven't posted any of my work. So this is what i've been busy with. I will warn you ahead of of time there is some nudity and that these pictures we're taken with my iPhone so quality and lighting may not be the greatest

These were my very first attempts using ink

I had to draw my face over an over again. Each face was timed at 5 minutes

We had to make a collage from one of the faces

This was a baby's face. We had to cut it up and collage it and make something.

I used the baby's bonnet to make a single ribbon in the dark.

This isn't finished. I didn't take a picture finished. What I added was white to the girl and finished the guys hand.

 This is my very first painting. I don't think its the greatest but hey, its my first.

 We had to copy a famous painters work to learn their brush strokes.

I chose a Monet.

Ps. There is tile in the back ground becuase i paint in my bathtub.

 My second still life. My first one was stolen from my cupboard in class :(

Glass is super hard to do because it has no color and reflects everything around it.

A real challenge to just paint what i saw.

Um probably about my 5th painting. My third still life.

My latest painting. We had to take a person cut them out and put them into another environment. I also added the pyramids.

Art Attack

So last week I was working on a 3 something foot by 3 something foot drawing. Most of it was pitch black, and I forgot to take a picture so i shall post that soon. BUT, as I was cleaning up i made even more of a mess than it was to the first place and it looked cool so i took come pictures. Ps yes I did my art in the bathroom I always do, thanks Miss Tarves for starting me on that. I just with these photo graph's weren't so yellow. But i'd love to create paintings that looked like this for my room.

God is good

This is how i've been feeling lately. I don't know if you translate the same thing I do from this picture. Heck I don't even know what I'm translating from the picture sometimes you just can't put words to feelings. I'm feeling so inspired but there's so much going on around me at this moment my life feels cluttered. But honestly, I don't like it any other way. Sometime i'm like i'm doing to much and I sit down and try to sort out what it is I am able to drop. My answer every time = nothing. Every Sunday night i look over my last week and organize my next week. Many a times I end up puzzled at how I got through my last week and then think how the heck am I gonna do the next week. It is so evident God is good, and miraculously I had an essay pushed back a week and no homework assigned for painting next week. On top of that I didn't get scheduled for work on Monday which has its pro's and con's cause I need the money. I think I need the time to put my artisitic inspiration to hard work.

I found this modern artist on Etsy and man I want her work. I just can't afford it. Not that its necessarily pricey, its a good price for what it is. Fact is I'm a student and can't afford things like this at this moment. When I am finally out of school and on my own, I'm going to be the biggest art fanatic ever. I will have to control myself. I want to have amazing pieces all over my house. Hopefully alot of my own and alot of local work.

Inked in Frustration

Today in drawing we had to use ink. Now when i say ink you are probably like oh she means sharpie. No i mean like liquid ink, diluted with water, and a paintbrush. So flipping frustrating, many people just couldn't get it to work. My first few were crap. I did however pick it up what seems to be after everyone else did, which added to the frustration. Although I don't feel as intimidated, at least not this week cause the people in my class are pretty cool and laid back. Made a few new friends, and finally introduced myself to a wonderful young lady Maddie who was in ma best friends class and she is also in my english class. I was going to take a picture of my work and put it up, but it was a nude model soooo awkward....*twiddles thumbs and looks into the sky* But here is what I had to do for homework. Its not the best because it was my first attempt at using the ink.

Why do you let me stay here?

Just finished my final project for art. I will post it later. As of right now its on my phone. As I was working on it everyone was walking by and taking a double take and commenting on how good it was. One guy was like " i'm glad the Sibeal review my porfolio before this peice." It was definately good for my self esteem. I ended up with an A- in the class. Super Excited about that.

Just need to ace our project. Which I think we got at least an A on it, get at least 85 percent of Economics Final, then my Marketing Final should be easier than pie. If all those things get checked of my list i should have a good GPA for the semester. Good thing I have a week to study until both my finals!

But since i got out of class an hour and a half early i'm having my first taste of what my breaks between my classes will be like next semester. Not enjoying it so far. I have a 4 hour and a 1 hour break next semester. Right now i'm bored out of my mind and I do not leave campus for an hour. There is only so much to blog about or do on facebook.
